This Saturday, after living in the same apartment community for over 8 years, we have been informed that our lease will not be renewed due to remodeling. There are no vacancies and we must be out in about 8 weeks. The timing could not have been worse with my husband out of work.
We will be looking for a new place for us to live (house or apartment) and in the process of searching and packing, I remain hopeful. We will continue to homeschool as best we can during this transition. I am going to try and sell some of our homeschool materials to earn income towards moving costs.
All I ask is for your prayers that the Lord guides us through this and that a home becomes available for us to rent.

Sending hopes that this turns out to be one of those "meant to be, and for a good reason" times....like maybe your dh will find new employment a block from your new digs. Or maybe an apartment building really needs a super and offers a free apartment!
Thanks. We have some savings and recently found a home near my parents. We will be moving at the end of October. I agree that perhaps this was one of those "meant to be" times. Since we will be closer to extended family, I think my family will be much happier. My mom has been wanting us to live closer to her and my Dad for years.
