Max and Ruby Paper (Dolls) Figures

Close up of Max and Ruby paper figures
My three year old son Turtle loves the Max and Ruby book series by Rosemary Wells. He enjoys watching the show on Nick Jr. He often sits in my lap while I read to his favorite book "Bunny Money." I wanted to make him some things of Max and Ruby he could play with so when I saw my friend Clemencia at Storytime and More post sometime back about Paper Dolls in February, I thought I could make Paper figures that even a little boy would love to play well.

I had been searching for the last two months for pictures of Max and Ruby I could use when all along it was "under my nose" errr.... in one of my bookmarks. The Nick Jr. website has
Max and Ruby Dress Up doll printables that you can print in black/white and in color. I printed them in color, cut them and glue them to card stock and then cut them to laminate.
To make them easier for little fingers to dress Max and Ruby up I placed velcro on the figures and on the clothing. Here's my toddler playing with his Max and Ruby this weekend.

You're welcome! I remember having my paper dolls from the TV show "Fanily Affair." It was fun getting to see my son enjoy playing "Max and Ruby." We are huge fans of theirs too!

I am going to work on making the Max and Ruby house for his paper Max and Ruby figures.
